The Vancouver Apneist Club is re-starting its Wednesday pool training/practice sessions at the UBC Aquatic Centre. We are renting a lane of the pool for freedive training and skills development. New and prospective freedivers are welcome to come out but please contact us first. Our pool time is from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm but please show up at least a half hour earlier for briefing, stretching and gearing up. We have rented this pool time so just tell them you're with the freediving group. We're charging a $5 drop-in fee to cover the rental cost. See you in the pool! | 30

Heads up, freedivers! We have a little group to dive Victoria's Ogden Point on the Saturday, changed from Friday, Oct 2, meeting 12 noon at the Ogden Point Dive Shop. So far we have 5 divers, including 2 newbies who are experienced in snorkelling and need to be shown the practical merits of our sport. After the dive, ~3pm, we will go to a local restaurant for lunch, venue to be decided onsite. Paul suggests a mexican place in the downtown area. Join us if you can. RSVP so we know to look for you.
